Street Car Takeover Dallas 2026 - Points & Recap

The smoke cleared, the bleachers emptied, and the memories are still fresh Street Car Takeover descended on the Texas Motorplex in Dallas on May 2nd and delivered everything fans and competitors came for. From the very first staging light to the final round, the quarter mile was alive with the thunder of engines, the squeal of tires, and the kind of competition that keeps racers coming back season after season.

Whether you were suited up in the lanes or watching from the rails, Dallas had plenty to offer. The Texas Motorplex provided the perfect stage a world-class facility that gave every driver a fair surface and every spectator a clear view of the action. Conditions were on point, preparation paid off, and the racing was as clean and competitive as it gets.

12 Classes. One Track. All Business.

The event card was stacked from top to bottom. Twelve classes took to the strip, representing everything from the next generation of drag racers to seasoned veterans chasing tenths and hundredths. Every class brought its own flavor, and the competition in each lane reflected just how serious this community takes its craft.

The index classes 9.50, 10.50, and 11.50 were a masterclass in consistency and reaction time, with racers threading the needle to hit their numbers under pressure. The roll race categories brought a different kind of intensity: no launch, no bracket strategy — just who built the best power and who laid it down when it mattered. And as always, the Jr Dragsters remind everyone why investing in young talent is the lifeblood of this sport.

When the final rounds were run and the winners pulled into the winners circle, every class had a story to tell. See how each class finished below full results broken down by class, straight from the track.

Dallas Showed Out
