If you weren't in Atlanta this past weekend, you missed one of the most electric drag racing events to hit the Southeast in years. From a jaw-dropping night meet in Cummings, GA at Vengeance Racing to an all-day, all-night throwdown at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the 2026 Atlanta stop on our tour delivered everything motorsport fans and their families could ask for.
Here's how it all went down.
Friday Night: The Vengeance Racing Takeover in Cummings, GA
Before a single Christmas tree lit up at the track, we took over an entire industrial park in Cummings, Georgia, courtesy of our friends at Vengeance Racing.
The night meet was something else entirely. Hundreds of builds rolled in, the air smelled like rubber and race fuel, and the energy was the kind you feel in your chest. Shop bays were open, engines were running, and car lovers from across Georgia and beyond came out to walk the lot, talk builds, and get a taste of what was coming the next day.
If you've never been to a night meet of this scale rows of machines under floodlights, the buzz of a crowd that genuinely lives for this stuff it's an experience that's hard to put into words. Friday night set the tone perfectly.
Saturday & Sunday: Racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway
Come Saturday morning, it was time to race.
Atlanta Motor Speedway provided the perfect stage. The facility is iconic, the track is fast, and the crowd that packed in was loud, passionate, and ready for war. Racers came with one thing on their mind running the quickest passes of their lives and they did not disappoint.
The Racing
Competition was fierce from the first green light to the last. Roll racing, heads-up classes, and Street Racers kept the crowd on their feet for hours. The racing stretched well into the night, with some of the quickest and most dramatic passes happening long after the sun went down. Floodlit track, screaming engines, and a crowd that refused to leave that's Atlanta.
The Car Show
Alongside the racing, our car show brought out some of the most unique and impressive builds we've seen on this tour. From wild custom builds to pristine classics, there was something to catch every eye. Whether you came as a hardcore gearhead or brought the kids out for a great Saturday, the show floor had you covered.
The variety on display was a reminder of just how broad and passionate the car community is this wasn't just a drag race, it was a celebration of automotive culture.
